The fast 10s are back abut will need to be manually updated by me for the time being. However there are some add on tracks now included in the rankings as well as the Gen5 chassis! Run a 10 lap race and your time will record to the website. Below are the tracks that are in the fast 10's now. More popular tracks will be added in time I'm sure.

where do you find the info for the servers and what chassis you can run. this reminds me of when i raced at fuo fast tens. good job on doing this bub.

Thanks NY. Servers for this will be in browser though I can throw up private ones If I want. I mean you can go in 63-65 alone and probably race them all and it should record from them too. And the link to the Fast 10's is under the community menu.

So apparently the fast 10's are automatically updating again!!! Yay!!! I am going to reset them here in a bit and start from like the fast times this week and go from there. I just hope when I reset them it won't screw it up again.

sorry to be a pain, but thought of this last night. can we use skins we have made or do they need to be ingame skins?

Use any skin you want, just make sure you're either using the Gen 5's or default chassis.

Fast 10's have been cleared and are now updating automatically!!!!!! Also date the lap time was achieved has been added. Will try to add a few more tracks in the next day or so including Boone Sprint

I'm glad to see the Fast 10's still around. When I was with EVR we ran these, known then as the Quick X. I was with EVR beginning in early 2000, and helped Shadow with the website and the Quick X's. Shadow had a little program that culled data from the server results file. Bumpkin wrote the program and if I'm not mistaken it was written in ASP. Most of it had to be done manually and results were posted manually when Shadow or I could get around to it.

It's great to see the automated process you have here, with the hands-free, frequent updates. That sure makes life a lot easier.

It's written in ASP. Buck wrote a manual program that does it in Excel and it somewhat similar, but with it being completely hands free and automated like you said it really makes life easier and makes it where I can just sit back and relax. It made the program more expensive, but I think worth it in the long run. I love that you can click on a drivers name now and show where they stack up at each track. I am talking to the guy right now about a 'phase 2' in which will expand the Fast 10's even more and hopefully have 3 month seasons (Also similar to EVRs, but automated) and various champions will be crowned at the end of each 3 month period and it will reflect that when you click their profile.

I'm glad people seem to be active and using it in the browser now. For me it makes the browser 50 times more fun because whether I'm racing alone or with 9 other drivers it won't get boring as I try to beat my times and others at the tracks and get better.

Bumpkin's expertise was apparently in ASP. All I can really remember is that the QuickX program was something pretty simple and that it was behind a login on the site somewhere. I've tried to contact Bumpkin but I don't think the email address I have is any good.
