JW HOW MANY GUYS OR GALS LIKED THE AUTO SHIFTING THEY PUT IN MOST NEW CHASSIE? I personaly do not if i want run auto i want auto but when car shifts it trys to spin me. i belive easy fix to make both sides happy is have auto shiters for guys want them and non shifters for guys who dopnt like them all cars still be in same class only thing is the cars woudnt shift unless u stop or have it on manual jw srry for caps

....and what about the gals? ..and do the auto shiters come with immediate auto wipers or delay wipers?

LMFAO.........last time i checked my 2004 Subaru Outback and every other automatic ive ever owned shifted itself.It upshifts and downshifts.Maybe you need to adjust the passing gear linkage on your old Dodge truck Hoover and you will see its supposed to shift up and down.

so youre sayin that you dont like auto , but run auto - learn how to shift then
and the "new" auto makes the car faster than the ld auto , so auto drivers can be competitive with manual
where as the old auto was slower lap times

I think that the new auto shifting makes it closer to real racing and should be a staple for all new chassis. You have these guys that bitch and complain about everything, it's a wonder F1yer still make's new and innovative things for this game.

By the way,I made the A-Main at VLR the other night running auto. Not bad with 47 cars in the house.

That's impressive Spridal. I need to try auto in the Gen 5's again. I keep forgetting it has that option, but at a couple tracks I was much more smooth and faster than manual. So I think hoover is one of very very few who don't like it. If he wants to simulate the auto experience just change his thing to manual and leave it in second gear. Simple fix.

As for Auto-Shitters, Idk, we don't have those here in Tennessee yet.

The auto-shitters dont give me enough time to build a solid turd.Im against them.

I use auto nearly all the time on the chassis that have the good auto , in fact im gettin lazy about it and complain to myself when i have to shift now on the older cars .

Easier for me to shift on my controller.

I know heard it before, but shouldn't be shifting anyway.

if you could flyer make them imca sport mods autoshift:) it clearly makes it more realistic with the auto shift instead of having to manually shift up and down every corner.

you can make it 1 gear but u have to use a automatic trans
i have made it but you can shift up and down it if u use a manually tran.

I'm very aware they can't make a chassis that is 1 gear I am saying make it a rule that the car can only race in high gear so then you take shifting out of it completely and make it about keeping your speed up thru the turn. I maybe new online but I'm not new to the game and have allways thought that the shifting was terrible for the game. It's all about shift points.
