i love the auto shifters i use them all the time qualified 4th at vlr finished 6th in a main and i have won a few races in the suprs sprints and gen 5s using the auto shift so i dont understand how in the world it makes you spin out everytime unless you just cant drive

I use auto at 3 tracks,sets i named auto.I do try auto at all tracks .I just shift at diff times than auto so thats wat i use.For me i can listen to my engine and it helps me find my referance points in were i need to do things,like When to lift,shift and gas it and or somehow land on top of my fellow racers.I know BW uses it on most or all tracks in auto cars,If i could figure it out i would be auto.

Kevin...whats there to figure out brother? You dont have to do anything with auto but drive.The car does all the work as far as the shifting goes.Ya know I was dedicated to using manual ever since I started dtr.I didnt start using auto until Series 2 of MM. I was hooked the 1st time I ever tried it.There is a lil skill involved when it comes to choosing the right gear now,however the auto is kinda a tattle tale when it comes to the gears,cause if you dont have your gears right the car will shift funny.Like maybe to soon or too late,or it will jump back and forth from 1st to 2nd repeatedly thru the corners.But if you have your gears right the car will shift at the right shift points making it so much easier to drive because you aint workin the gears just driving.I can honestly say since I went to auto my times have come down drasticly at most every track and my overall game has improved 100%!

Darren...man I hate to say this but dude I think ya been out in the sun too long! You just need to learn how to drive man! Also learn how to adjust setups! If your cars try'n to spin out when it shifts you probably have your gears out of wac! Stop painting other peoples tracks and put your time into getting better at driving! Ya know it would be different if you were a track maker! But your not! You just edit other peoples tracks and put DH_on them! Why?....I have no clue!,but honestly,wheres the pride in just changing the looks of something someone else made? You dont get no bragging rights unless you actually make the dam thing! Ya know to be honest man,if you spent has much time in the seat racing as you have fkn around changing sh*t someone else made you'd prolly be as fast as anyone! Just go race man! Manual or auto is simply a drivers preference in this game.Its all in what you like and prefer really. The dam car has to shift whether you do it or it does it by itself! How the hell can ya have a car that dont shift? The dam thing wouldnt take off if ya had it gear'd for speed on the top end, or wouldnt have any speed at top end if ya had it gear'd to take off! I think you seriously need to just practice,...stay out of the sun,and dont eat no yeller snow! Before ya know it you'll have it figured out!

I mus saye the newer chassise has improved gretly with the auto shifting it makes me it much eazier to run auto i glad the chassi edirtors figured this stuff out so its more evan with the manuel drivers.
