Hey everybody! This post will probably win cheesiest post of the year, but I want to say a few things about this game. I know some of you think I have no place to say anything because I don't race. You may be right, but I am a typical female that has to express her opinion no matter what. :)

In the last few weeks, I've noticed a lot more fighting and arguing than I've ever heard before. You guys are all a great bunch of people and are too good for all of this fighting! If you put it in perspective, DTR2 is just a game. You don't make money off of it, it doesn't cost money to play, and it really doesn't make a difference if you win or lose! When you all race, there are accidents and there are some who are just dirty. Who cares about the dirty guys! Everyone knows who they are - don't bring yourself down to their level and slam them back! Do you remember in high school how there were the kids that picked on everyone else because they felt inadequate themselves? And when you'd get mad at them, they'd just laugh harder? Everytime ya'll get upset and pitch fits because someone wrecked you, it just makes them laugh harder!

Since Ryan has started racing in the past few weeks, I've come to notice how 99% of ya'll are super nice to him and want to help him out. You make exceptions for his "uh-ohs" and don't get upset with him. That's the main reason he continues to race and is getting better every week. Maybe if everyone encouraged the new or inexperienced drivers by giving them constructive criticism, they'd improve and be worthy opponents.

Some examples of "bigger" drivers:

1. Flyer: when he gets wrecked, he doesn't started yelling and cursing at the other guy. He leaves, chills out, then comes back and acts like nothing happened.

2. BLS DeadBolt: db knows he's not as fast as some, so instead of causing wrecks by taking the pole, he puts himself in the back. I think this shows he's racing just to have fun!

3. VLR McGee: when he sees someone coming up behind him that he knows is faster than him, he moves over to let them pass.

4. VLR KP: kp's a very clean driver, but he always wants to apologize for any tiny mistake he makes. He wants to be known as a clean driver!

5. Team NFR: these guys are, for the most part, slow. But they have more fun racing each other than any other team on DTR2. Isn't that the whole point?

And now I'll finish up my book by posting some of my favorite quotes. Sorry for the cheesy post, but maybe one person will read it and remember what the game's all about!

thank you for the kind words

in an attempt to maybe give an answer to why we fight so much , or at least the way i look at it :

we are like a big extended family , we all get along for the most part , but every once in a while we disagree lol , next time we see each other we carry on like it didnt happen , til it happens again

forgive (sometimes) but never forget lol

Im just hurt i wasnt considered a big driver :(
So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

Well now Ice, you know I think a lot of you! Those were just the first examples that popped in my head! You are the one that shares everything with other people. You let everyone use your sets, even though you're the one who worked on making them up. And you are super fast without being rough on everyone. That make u feel a lil better? :cheer:
