I have made several off-line late model touring series in the past so I am somewhat familiar with how it works. I am now wanting to make a series that would reflect racing a stock car at a local track (1 track, 18-20 weeks). My question is this: how do i make it so the AI of the computer cars in EXTREMELY competitive. what i want is for no one to ever win by more that 1 sec and have several different cars that could win. Basically i want the computer cars to be so close that there are close finishes every week. I hope this makes sense and someone can give me some tips.

If you set the best ability and worst ability to be basically the same your Ai car in 60th will be the same as your Ai car in 1st.

You're trying to do things that can only effectively be done by adjusting the game's or tracks ai file not the track.str file

I have made local series 1 track 8-15 events but mine mainly 8 events witch gives me chance to run mulitpal tracks champs 1 time. I set dif setting based on class and event. for example I run default stock and work my way up I set stocks at 5 or 6 level and I have finished races that was 0.01 finish but alote depends on track u run how well ai is and how well ur driving stle is so like ray says unless u adjust tracks ai there no real way to do it str files makes beter but not ganna give u what u want.
