SDC Official Announcement:


After months of meetings and negotiations, SDC Officials are pleased to announce that there has been an agreement with a track to fill the open date of June 28th 2016. We here at SDC are very pleased with the agreement reached and feel that this will benefit not only the SDC Sanctioning body and the track but also the core drivers that are fighting for the SDC Dust Bowl II Championship.



Without further ado, I am very pleased to announce that for next Tuesday, June 28th 2016, SDC Dust Bowl II will indeed be making a much welcomed visit to Atomic Speedway DLM



This race at Atomic will not only be another visit to another fine racing facility but will also be unique as the format for this one race will be quite different.

Instead of 45 laps, the A main will be 60 laps.
Heats are now worth more as championship points will be awarded for the upfront finishers in each heat.
There will not be an inverted dash for this event like every other event on the schedule, instead the top 8 starting drivers will take part in a Revenge Draw to set the starting lineup for the A main.


Both SDC and Atomic Speedway officials are looking forward to seeing this event come to life next week and are hoping to see a great turnout of drivers at this special event.
