WHAT SHOCK DID: Bump and run. Happens everywhere at every track at least once or twice a night. Good racing for spectators, not exactly clean to other drivers. Wheel didn't get taken out just bounced off the wall. Both kept going.

MOVE DEEMED LEGAL. Not a clean pass and not exactly smiled upon either but I'm not going to penalize somebody for trying to pass.



WHAT WHEEL DID: After the bump and run dove hard into 1 and into Shock's bumper. Both cars went to the wall, again neither were wrecked. Both cars continued after said contact.


NO PENALTY HANDED DOWN. Reasoning as to why I ruled it as such was I looked at it from the standpoint of if it happened to me. If you have to bump me to get by you can expect a bump back. Wheel hit Shock about 2 more times than I would have and also harder than I would have but I'm letting it go this time only. I'm not condoning Wheel's actions on track or off track.



I let this one go. That doesn't mean I'm letting it happen every week. Both drivers are being warned now that if it happens again there will be penalties.

The warning is for both because "I don't give a fuck what J-MAC thinks" and "well in that case I'm going to wreck somebody every week just for passing me and I didn't like that so I'll call it revenge each time" are not things that will be allowed at my show and are not things one would expect for guys that have been here for 10+ years.


That is all that I feel needs to be said on the issue from last night.

Ok a few things.

1. My move was deemed legal...so from no penalties handed down it would imply that you feel Wheel's move was legal as well (no probation, ban or anything. Just good old fashioned revenge)

2. It wasn't even a bump and run if you ask me. At real time in the race I didn't even know I touched him. He ran high in 3 and 4 every corner to that point and I dipped low every corner under him and we raced off and I gave him room outside of me. That time I looked in the mirror coming off turn four (not realizing anything had happened) waiting for him to come up SBS with me again so I could leave him room next to the wall. Well he fell back a little bit so I just figured he got too high on the track. I go into turn one normal only to get blasted almost off the track (legal move)? Somehow I gather it back up only from him to CONTINUE to try and flip me going down the backstretch (still legal)?

3. If you notice on the replay, not only did I not do anything purposefully as far as making contact with Wheel, I also STILL raced him clean even after he blasted me TWICE trying everything he could to take me out. I easily could've totaled his car after what he did but I kept racing expecting there to be a penalty issued after the race and so I didn't retaliate even though I was well within reason to. So imagine my disappointment when it was basically deemed "revenge" after the race despite everyone else who saw it as way over the top for something that happens 50 times a race at every league. All I did was draft him down the back stretch and bump him in middle of it (which is completely normal on this game) and then dive under him going into the corner like I had every lap prior.

For someone to intentionally try to end someones race REPEATEDLY after the other driver has done nothing to warrant it and didn't retaliate makes it hard to understand why it was OK in THIS race, but not in future races. If it's a penalty in future races it should've been last night.

By the way, Wheel was the one who said "I don't give a f*ck what J-mac thinks" not me.

You were in his left rear right up until the turn and there was audible contact on my replay during that. If you didn't know you were on his bumper and quarter panel please adjust your sound settings.

What further penalty should I have handed down when he already finished in the back? You were fighting for the lead. There's contact, there's the secondary and more forceful contact, and after that had ended where were you? You were 1st he was 3rd then he wrecked himself and finished in the back where had you not wrecked yourself you would have finished top 2-3 maybe even had won. He lost 1 spot when you pushed him in 3, JW passed you both after he hit you in 1. After the race Wheel was probably more mad that he missed than that he lost.

So if it happens again it's a penalty? If you steal something once, get caught, then do it again, it's only theft the second time? That's just dumb logic. Your entire argument is biased toward wheel because he's the only one that doesn't say anything bad about you behind your back. Let's not forget during the first Dust Bowl at Knoxville...

That was ONE race. Not multiple weeks. Judge your show fairly or don't run it at all.

That was judged fairly as it was an issue involving multiple cars taking themselves andother cars out. Not just 2 cars. Then again how would you know that? You don't race or attend shows to begin with. I've hosted this series for 4 years and this is the only time I've had any complaints about one of my calls because instead of somebody else this time it's the great Shock and Wheel. They're supposed to be untouchable in DTR2 I'm sorry I forgot that.

This is an entirely different incident. If you don't like it then don't show up. Shouldn't be hard since you don't show up anyway.

Shock and Wheel have done this to each other since Roosevelt was president. Itll never change so just chalk it up to entertainment value and move on.
