This race is a little bit different from most others. I'll start with the more basic rules of the race. The race starts with a 50 lap segment and if you win that you get 35 bonus points. Track wetness at 56. Next is a 20 lap segment that is worth another 25 bonus points if you were to win but to add a little more fun we are going to invert the field from the 1st segment finishing order. Track wetness at 42. Next, another 20 laps that is in the finishing order of segment 2 worth 20 points. Track wetness at 34. Last is a 10 lap segment that is worth 185 points and is started by finishing order of segment 3. You guys vote in the guestbook the wetness of the track in segment 4 and also how long the breaks are. You can vote between 1 minute, 2, 5, 10.

Here are the rules that will shake things up. you can only have 2 racers from the same team in the all-star race so VLR or WFO doesn't stink up the show, so its not only a race against teams, but also a race within them.

Another different rule is the tag-out rule. At the end of segments 1 and 2 whoever wants to tag-out can get another TEAMMATE to run for them, both drivers will get ALL points earned by those two. You must have 1 person on stand by. Also, if you do make the tag-out you get 10 bonus points.

If you have a TTH gen 3 win this season you are locked in to the race unless you have 3 or more teammates that have won, in that case the teammates will race and top two are in, but the two teamates will have to tag-out at some point with the teamates that didnt make it. In VLR's case since there is already two different winners, 18 and Shock, both will have to make the tag-out move at some point, but they can also tag back in.

There will be two heats and the top 5 from each go to the showdown, the top 8 or 7, depending on the rolling wheels race, will race in the all-star race. This is a test of whos a real all-star on dtr2, hope its fun. So be ready for June 18th.
