Time really snuck up on me this year but its time for the 5th Annual Spring Fling which will be held at Terre 2k11 in the Gen 4 Chassis.

You guys you Gen 4's to me so i can get a skin pack together!!!

What does everyone think about having an entry fee for the race. Im thinkin $5 and if we get 25 drivers thats $125. I would be willing to add $100 making the purse $225 and breaking it up so the top 10 at least get their money back with the winner getting somewhere in the neighborhood of $100. Let me know what you guys think.

Also i was thinking for the guys that couldnt or wouldnt pay the entry fee...they could still race but would not be eligable for any of the pay out.

Well thats a good idea Ice but how would someone in Canada Pay??? I don,t have or want pay pal... Then you might want to vote drivers in too...LMFAO

Did some quick figuring and with 30 drivers paying $5 apiece it would be a $250 purse i could do this:

1st-$100
2nd-$50
3rd-$25
4th-$15
5th-$10
6th-$10
7th-$10
8th-$10
9th-$10
10th-$10

Also thinkin about doing the entire race (Heats, Dash, Features) like a real race with cautions, and stuff like that. Give me some ideas and ill put all the rules up and go from there.

In that case tony you would race for fun...ie You would not be able to recieve any payout for the event but can still race.

Hell man I might just look into Pay Pal bud... I really enjoy this game but its getting to much as of now.. You and Shock and Karl Will keep this game alive go to yahoo..

F1yer has a Gen 4 pack you can use too satrt with, they are in the weekend warrior skinpack, the G4 i gave you was the wrong one, the right one says, chrome g4, it's in my 2k11 skinpack

That sounds cool, cause i am not sure i am as good as u guys in the top 10 but i want to give it a shot, maybe we could do some $1 entry fees first for some experimental races and see how that works, that is not much of a dent in most peoples wallets, and could venture some slower guys to try thier luck and see for sure, if they would be comfortyable paying more than 5. I am up for it!!! $5 aint so bad in my book, but some people are playing this and not running for real because of funds, BUT I THINK IT'S A GREAT IDEA!!!!

Well thats why it wont be manditory...you can not pay a dime and still run you just wont be able to win any $$$

If someone who didn't pay wins, will the big money go to the neext person who did pay? or would the payout split the winners purse?

It's an awesome IDEA!!!!! Would you be able to split the $10 purses down to $5 and payout the top 15-20

i have been waiting for someone to say that
the more we push for this to be real , and try things to get attention back to our game , its happened
someone , a promoter , said the money is goin into his pocket

of course im joking , i know ice would never pocket anyone elses money

but that is the next step in the process of promoting
some guys are good guys and some are bad , alot of promoters stick it to them drivers and fans leaving with full pockets after a season or a high dollar race

while im not totally against th epayout race idea , im not 100% sold on it either

yeah thats why i wouldnt make it manditory to pay to get to race. Im for the community as a whole (and no i wouldnt pocket anyone's money haha). I actually dont see anyway that I could make $$$ on it because I would add $100 to the purse myself.

And this isnt for sure im just throwing ideas out to the community to see what sticks. I just want the best race of the year to be the Spring Fling and I want everyone to come.

I will pay the $5 entry for any Doit member that shows up to the race.
