...First off I wanna congratulate him on winning and McGee on getting second. And I want to personally let Faschek know that he done a great job tonight as did A2D who was very clean. I'm sure there were plenty more but I was just in view of these 2
KINGWOOD, WV- VLR_18 continued his dominance again this week at RPM Complex as he bested a field of over 20 competitors at the 4/10 mile RPM Complex track Friday night. In what is beginning to look like a replay of last season, 18 has raised the bar a few notches in the past few races as he has now won five of the last six events at VLR after not getting in victory lane in the first three. VLR_McGee came home with his second best finish of the year as he finished behind 18. He couldn't quite catch the US Army Dodge, but didn't lose much ground on him either. Perhaps the surprise of the race was young talent Faschek out of Kentucky coming home with a strong third place finish in only the second A main he has made this year. VLR_Shock was the hard charger as he worked his way from 8th to 4th after winning the B Main. LSR*A2D made his first recorded start at VLR a good one as he came home with a strong top 5 while applying lots of pressure to VLR_Shock for fourth in the final laps. Teammate LSR*SB came home with 6th after battling with WFO_Rainman for much of the race, while Rainman came home in 7th. It was the Indiana Flash GLH*Jsn bringing home 8th, followed by BLS_DeadBolt who subbed for BLS_F1 coming in 9th after F1 left when the B Main was over due to illness. XRT_Ray rounded out the finishers in tenth and was one lap off the blistering pace set by VLR_18. Next weeks track will be announced by Monday so stay tuned. Thanks everyone who came out to VLR to race this week.
