VLR_Gage takes the VLR season opener for his sixth career VLR win tonight at Beaver Dam Raceway! One of the stoutest A Main fields in a long time came out for the 1st ever Scott Semmelmann Memorial. It was all Gage tonight, though, as he slowly built a comfortable lead over the field of competitors. The talented crop of drivers utilized both the low and high line to make their way to the front, but no one could catch pole sitter Gage.

XCR_Orso was the hard charger from 10th to 3rd, and battled side by side with Smallz for 25+ laps before clearing him late. Sensational rookie Momper showed he would be a championship contender this season at VLR as he came home with a strong runner up finish.

The 18 car of Austen Semmelmann started 9th in his dads memorial race, and discovered the high line midway through the race and quickly began charging through the field before getting to fifth at the finish, just behind Smallz.

VLR_Shock gained two spots from 8th to 6th, after a side by side battle with BW over the last 15 laps. Dirty Dirk came home just behind Shock and BW in 8th. LP and outside pole sitter XCR_RB rounded out the top 10 finishers.

Next week VLR tackles the crowd and driver favorite Knoxville Speedway in Knoxville, Iowa. Come on out for what should be another exciting weekend of racing!
