We will have a new qualifying format in place, beginning with tonight's VLR race. The format should save 20-30 minutes off the shows length. It will be similar to the BLS qualifying format with everyone qualifying at once. Here is the breakdown:

1. Qualifying groups will be given out in the Ventrilo Chat as normal, all users are to go to their qualifying IP like normal.

2. Instead of a 5 lap hot before qualifying, we will now run one 3 lap hot instead.

3. Qualifying will now be done as a group (All the drivers in the server qualify at the same time), and will be FOUR (4) laps, instead of 3.

4. Qualifying will still show up on the VLR site live after the qualifying groups are done.

5. Unlike BLS, you will not run a heat race in the same group you qualified with. All drivers need to go back to Ventrilo chat and wait for heat races to come out based on overall qualifying results.

There you have it. We will be using this format for the rest of the season so come on out and run with us! Tonight is Knoxville 2k11 and is always an exciting race at VLR. Please note that you MUST be in Ventrilo before 8:30et, 7:30ct if you're going to have a chance to qualify, especially with this new format with everyone qualifying at once. Heat races will likely start around 8:40 - 8:50 with this format. Thanks and good luck!
