TOPIC:

Tonight we head up to New York at OCFS for the first ever VLR race at Orange County Fair. I will be running the show tonight, but the 4 headsets I ordered were supposed to come in yesterday but didn't, so I will need a little help. Qualifying groups will come out at 8:30 et sharp. If there are 30-40 cars again we will do 6 or 7 groups and qualifying should be over in 15 minutes.

Now I got this program that Buck made (Thanks Buck) that spits out lineups so be in chat within 1 minute after qualifying because heat lineups will be coming out immediately after. The show should go really quick tonight.

Also tonight C Main will be 12 laps, and B Main 15 due to the length of this track. 15 laps is plenty here with the draft and ease of passing. I hope to see everyone back out again tonight for the first ever Eastern States Weekend!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, for the 1st time in history the drivers of the VLR Late Model series have invaded the Hard Clay. For the first time ever, The best of the best have stopped in Middletown NY at the famed and historic Orange County Fair Speedway. Many drivers have been testing and practicing all week since this is the series first ever visit to the track and theres already many predictions of the outcomes of tonights big race. The grandstands have been sold out and the backstretch parking area has been filled since the gates opened this morning. Everybody wants to witness history! With plenty of team shakeups happening during the week, this is set to be one of the most exciting races in near history. The infield is filling up as the haulers cross the track inbetween turns 3 and 4 to enter the pits.


Drivers to watch for tonight
VLR Shock- Off a very rocky week, the owner of Team VLR is heading into his own series with some new teammates and some others no longer on the team.

BLS Wheel- After an exciting Spring Fling at the Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheel is offf VLR and onto BLS. With a new team backing him, its a new leaf turned as Wheel looks to get right back to his dominating ways.

VLR JW- Sitting in 2nd in points, The Mississippi Missle has only missed 1 A main in the current VLR series. JW is never one to count out when hes in the field. With finishes like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd all series long, JW could add another win and bring the points race closer together.

VLR Woods- The newest member of the VLR Team, Woods is looking to make a heavy impact on tonights race and carry the VLR name to victory lane at the first race at the track.

JFR Jim- Jim has been a constant in alot of A mains over the past few weeks. Already having wins under his belt he looks to up his count in the win column.

BLS BW- With BW being one of the most consistent drivers in the series, he could very well be a threat to whoever is in front as he also looks to win tonight.

BLS Jsn- The Valvoline v6 machine has been absent from victory lane lately and Jsn is looking to change that with a major win here tonight.

VLR KP- The new Executive Vice President of Talent Relations for Team VLR could possibly be there to show his authority in his new title position.

Blaze- The winner of the prestegious Spring Fling is all set to show the racing world that it wasn't just a technicality win and that he can get it done just like anybody else.

XCR Tony- The Canadian nightmare is back full time after stepping away from racing for some time and is ready to prove he hasn't missed a beat by notching his name back into the winning column.

VLR McGee- The 53 car has been out on the track quite a bit during the week. McGee is always a threat no matter what the track. Hes sitting 7th in points and the world knows that he can get the job done and win the race.

ERL J-MAC- The Streak. The most unbelieveable and almost unreal feat produced by the Gypsum Express and Gypsum Wholesales #68. J-MAC rolls into his homestate track with 2 streaks. 1, having never made an A main in his career at a VLR race, and 2, having never missed an A main at OCFS in every race hes ran at the track.





The sun is shining in Middletown NY and the forecast shows no chance of rain. The fans are here in the stands and the tailgating has been going on all day off the backstretch. The pits are filling up and the track crew as prepared the track to absolute perfection for tonights race. Its the beginning of a new era for VLR and once again, history is just waiting to be made.

Well........as depressing as it is, the streak is over. 4-1 at A main appearances at OCFS. The never making an A main at VLR streak continues.....
