Im not sure who made the Big Block v5's, but they are awesome, and im thinking of putting together like a midnight modified series for friday nights in them with a schedule based on the Dirtcar northeast series schedule, wondering what people think of the idea&if anybody would be willing to help Send me a Private message. i make it to about every series show, need some feedback. figured maybe Jmac and other New Yorkers would love it, about all of the tracks are on dtr2, could lead all the way upto dirtweek and have a long race @ Syracuse or something. Feedback wanted.

while id like to run BBmods , midnight is in conflict with lazy's midnight series
and fridays dont seem to be very good as rreal acing has started or will start soon for most of us

DB, you're still at the track around Midnight? They normally shut the lights off on us like 20 mins after the last checkers here. And thats around 10-10:30.

if i go to lernerville on fridays , they usually get done around 1030-11 , almost 2 hour ride home , attica is 3 hour ride home
saturday stateline in new york will run until they are done , been there watching races at 3am before
sundays usually end around 10 , then depending on how drunk i am , i may go to the bar on the way home

those are just the local options i would look at on weekends , traveling further isnt out of the question

Ahhhhh......I see. I keep forgetting that not everybody has a 10 min drive to the nearest track. No further questions. Except this, about how long of a trip do you draw the line at? And how many NY tracks are within that line?

for what i would consider local (where we always look at)
friday - raceway7 in conneaut ohio , lernerville , attica
saturday - stateline , mercer , sharon
sunday - eriez
i also consider little valley in new york local , and mckean county in pa local

as for drive time , usually anything within 3 hours is no problem for me and my buddies
as for traveling to races further , not much is out of the question , we drive to florida every year for eastbay , have driven on moments notice to TN , GA
i drive out to lucas oil speedway in missouri , and ultimately never got to see the race

Possibly. lol. Couple rather big races up here. Brett Hearn's Big Show at the newly re-dirted Albany Saratoga Speedway, the Mr. Dirt 100 at Lebanon Valley,, WoO Sprint Cars at Lebanon Valley, Lucas Oil Late Models at Fonda Speedway and then theres always Super Dirt Week at Syracuse in October.....these are just a few races that I consider big and know I'll be at.....


And I'm only kinda sorry for changing the subject. It happens all the time. lol
