Its all listed out in my thread but I'll explain anyways since I like talking about this.


We're going to have 10 cars in 2 different servers, like 216 63 and 216 64, all 20 drivers will be in the same vent channel and we set both rooms to however many laps there are in the race. If a caution is called, boths rooms esc out and we reline up both rooms based on where they were when the caution came out, we reset both rooms to the same number of laps and restart from that point. At the end of the race, we look at the TRT of each person and the person with the fastest TRT is the winner of the race. Everybody else finishes in the order of their TRT. So while you're racing the other 9 people in your room, you're also racing against 10 other people who are racing at the same exact time under the same exact conditions.

just my opinion i think we oughta do this all the time......get rid of the cautions and restarts ... i think we would get better car counts if more cars get a chance at the A main...and we wouldnt even have to limit the main to 20....do like 24 like lucas oil or woo and make it (3) 8 car fields. less cars in a server at one time also reduces the chances of people running over half the field and causing a restart or caution situation,JMO

Well with this I was trying to bring that sense of realism to it. You go to any track in existance, theres a wreck, theres a caution if not everybody gets going. If somebody wants to purposely wreck during my show just to get a caution, they'll be parked for it. And if somebody intentionally takes somebody out for a caution, they will once again be parked. You've been to Super Dirt Week Ray. They start 45 cars. Sometimes more. I think 46 is the limit. I want that. But since we can't do that, I'll start 20 cars. I'd be happy to have 16 people in the same room to at least make it look like offline racing where its you and 15 ai cars. I love the big field look and feel. If there are wrecks because people are running others over, its not because theres too many cars. Its because those people can't handle the traffic. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of those people quite a bit of the time. But I still want to race.

Maybe your idea would work. Theres only one way to find out. But I wouldn't throw out the cautions and restarts. Say theres an actual racing accident. Somebody thats having a career best night is involved. With no caution, they could be over 3/4s of a lap behind. They might as well esc out and that doesn't make for good racing. Thats just my 2 cents.
