Heres skin #2

hehehehehehe. J-MAC Skins is a tab on your screen. They look good man! Get them on track and take pics of them.

EDIT- They look good but now that I think about it, the numbers kinda blend in and are hard to see. When I make skins, I get the mindset that this is going to be a design thats going on an actual car that will race weekly, you want it to look good and have things stand out. Look at stuff I've done. The numbers are bright colors that are different from the car color. The 2 latest skins I made, the J-MAC 122 and J-MAC 68, I put the green numbers in the part of the car thats black so they stany out more. The cars are black, green and purple, so putting the number where the green and purple are would make them harder to see. The red car looks the better of the 2 you got here so it does show that you know what you're doing and you're pretty good at this. I'd just try to make the number pop a little more so it stands out, otherwise its a really great design and you got the criticism you were looking for. Hope I helped out some, I'm still learning stuff too.

No prob man, and Rowdy just did a few things. A- Put everything I've ever done to shame with that skin, and B- He showed what I meant by with the numbers. They stand out......the more that I look at it.......the more I think of it being owned by the guy that owned Dale Jarrett's 88 and Davey Allison's #28. I just can't think of his name to save my life right now......

Ah, hell man. You don't have to try to show me up. All my designs are pretty simple (well, kinda. A few were a little complicated at points) so they don't take all that long to make. Going off on a tangent here but a few years ago, a local driver held a contest for anybody that wanted in, to draw up a design and the winning one would be the paint scheme he ran the season with. I took a paper, it was just a blank car. I sat down in front of the movie theatre that was in the mall the car show was in, and drew up a design. Took 2nd place. 19 more votes and I woulda been the winning design. I can draw them pretty good, the computer is another story. I can do things with pencil that I can't with the computer, but I can also do things with this that I can't draw. (I can't draw a good number to save my life) The next year I didn't make the final five but oh well, the ones were better the year before. You seem to know what you're doing with this. You're good man. Real good. I'm good but not that good.

Well thanks man..Hell if ya ever get teamspeak u can pop in there one nite and i can help ya out with some stuff for paintin skins..I been helpin Brandon aka "92" the last couple nights untill about 4 and 5 in the morning and he's gota pretty damn good now within just 2 days.

Did you see the last ones I made? How do they look? I tried to copy them off a car I drew about 3 years ago.

I like that one..i like how the flames have that Fade effect from the side of the nose then it goes back to the dark part of it.

Thanks. Its not exact since the one I drew had a big flame on it that looked like a comet tail/lightning bolt instead of those flames, but otherwise its pretty dang close. I got the black swoop to look right after an hour of just playing with it, zooming in, tweeking, looking, tweeking again. And it didn't fade in the drawing since I didn't know how to do that back then. Heres a Big Block I made. Probably the simplest design ever but it looks good to me.

Yeah..Hell plain cars dont look bad at all if ya put the right style number on it and logos..But just like that mod..i like colors that fade light to dark..or just fade into another color period..So that one aint bad looking either

Thanks. I wouldn't of left it like that if I didn't think it looked good. We can blame Nascar 2005 for that. I spent just as much time making sure the colors on my cars looked good as I did racing. I just like being able to experiment some with the fading effect with this. The car I made for DO!T 49 (who hasn't made him a car this past week or so?) had purple fade to white. Not alot, just a little bit.

Ya..i made him one a couple months ago..and i dont think he ever ran it..i think he just asks ppl to do him skins just to have skins.

He ran the ones I made him a few times in the browser racing but thats the last I've seen him in it. Oh well. Don't bother me any. Got like 40 of your own skins in my game. I got almost everybodys. If somebodys computer crashes, I could probably give them any skin they wanted if they asked. I just checked, 681 different skins in saved on my computer.
