One of the best teams in DTR2 history WFO is back at it again with another series right out of the gate after just finishing up the BLS MOD ",Mild Meltdown" series....VLR SHOCK took home the championship! Congrats! The haulers started rolling in early for a prior race and some of the heavier hitters hang around and some later showing up for the WFO race just getting laps on the track for the new WFO series and tuning up for a Hillbilly 100 race coming up this Sunday. The heat race would see WFO 97 & BW leading them to the green flag, WFO 97 had some electrical issues not firing correctly early on allowing BW and VLR-JW to get around quickly. JW took quick advantage and took the heat win with BW, Shock, Faschek, Duster, Rainman and GetReal....The 40 lap feature would see JW & BW leading them to the green and JW as he done from hot laps tonight showing his muscle and checking out, The 43 machine of BW was smooth all night and took advantage of a tangle between Rainman and Shock and set sail behind JW for 2nd place. The 59 and 0 cars went at it hard for 3rd with 59 surviving the battle between the couple, Faschek hang around for a 5th place finish, Getreal ran 6th for a while until he lost oil pressure and retired for the night, Dusters electrical issues never got better! TEAM WFO would like to thank everyone who had the balls to race tonight!!! We will have our website up and going by the end of the week with all information needed.....Thanks again to the guys who showed up tonight! Points in this 7 race shootout looks like this...
