Hi everyone!

Long story short, I was an avid dtr fan back in the day. Saw the Lucas Oil series this past Tuesday and it got me wanting to play again. Was more than relieved to find this site!! A huge thanks to teamvlr for preserving the old files!!

Quick question...I can access the site on my phone, no problems. Got dtr reinstalled tonight and tried to come here via the laptop and the page simply says "hacked by you". Does that mean it's down or am I experiencing my first noobism? Thanks for any insight.

Ugh, rule #1 of a forum is to search the forum for an answer first...saw the same problem a few threads down. I've added the site in the compatibility settings. Hope that fixes it. Thanks!

Thanks, BMS. I actually saw that just a few minutes after my post. Got it working. Next noob question, is there still a guide somewhere for installing DTR1 mods? I remember creating a "skins" folder and a "cars" folder for chassis and skins but am not 100% certain on what to do with the series and track files. Do I simply create related folders within data ("series", "tracks")? Looking at getting the old 2002UDTRA series up and running again. My apologies for bringing up questions on a game that is 15 years old or so.

Yes sir I believe if I understand what you're saying, you are correct. Actually for the age of the game it has held its own throughout time and is still evolving. It's really all a matter of preference really. Some folks like Rfactor some like DTR2 and some are into the other racing games.

Why don't you try DTR2 Hammy? You do know that one exists, right? That's what 99% of the files here are for lol. Welcome to the site.

That's on my radar. I have DTR2 as well and am currently having problems with DTR so I may just go that route. Thanks, bro.
