if I don't have winzip how do u get the cars on the game ?

unzip using whatever , several free programs you can use , think there are some here to get , like jzip etc

Last I knew the Gen5s were auto unzipping and they unzipped themselves into the proper folders.

Download the ADL UnCompressor here at the bottom of the page. www.teamvlr.com/index.php/component/docm...iles.html?Itemid=121 It will help you open any file you need. If you don't wanna use that, (which I recommend you should), then what you need to do probably is, SAVE the file after clicking download, open your downloads folder, right click on the folder, click RUN as Admin, and it should give you a destination like this C:Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\data\cars it will most likely say that folder doesn't exist, would you like to create it, click yes, the Gen 5s will then be extracted to your new cars folder. you will then need to have all 12 skins for each chassis in the Gen 5s, find them here ( 4th one down called Gen 5 Skinpack 1, it has a bunch of the racers skins in it) www.teamvlr.com/index.php/component/docm...kins.html?Itemid=121 follow the same instructions for the cars, if you have to use a program to extract it, this is where you will need the UnCompressor, just open it, and drag the folder into it, it will ask you where you want it extracted to, in the window where the browse button is, type C:Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\data\skins when it asks you to create that folder click yes. you will then be able to find that folder by right clicking on DTR2 icon, click open file location, click data, then you will see you cars and skins folders, you will also need to create a folder named tracks so you can play multiplayer leagues or addon tracks. To do that, just go here www.teamvlr.com/index.php/component/docm...acks.html?Itemid=121 and use the same instructions as you have before with the cars and skins, except your destination will be C:Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\data\tracks Now you should be good to go to play DTR2 and put all you new addons in the game. A good idea would be to create a folder on your desktop named DTR2 addons, you can then separate all you cars, skins and tracks inside that folder, that way you wont have a bunch of folders in the game that will slow you down, and you can easily go find what you need to run a specific event.
