Mama Tiger wrote: I know I have no dog in this argument, but I would like to (respectfully) make a point that may help clear up the first "rule infraction". As a school teacher, I think I am making a good point since it's based on wording of a sentence. I'm not trying to step on you at all Karl, so please don't get upset with me. =D

The first infraction is over how a rule was worded. "Whoever your sub driver is must be LOWER than you in the point standings, unless it is the first race of the season." This is the correct way to word what Shock's trying to say. Try replacing part of the rule with a different stipulation and it makes sense. If Shock would've written "Whoever your sub driver is it has to be a man, unless it is the first race of the season." It would stand to reason that subs have to be men and the only time a woman could race would be the first race of the season. Carry this over to the actual rule "Whoever your sub driver is must be LOWER than you in the point standings, unless it is the first race of the season." It stands to reason that subs have to be lower in the points and the only time points standings don't matter is the first race (where no one has points anyways, thus no one can be higher or lower than one another).

Make sense Karl?

EXACTLY! It made sense to me, and I still don't see how he misunderstood that. Maybe I just think differently than most people.

Yep you did, although you didn't end up racing the full season I believe you had subs the first two races. And to KARL, this was BLS F1yer, not VLR f1yer. So maybe we just favor BLS and VLR guys :P

Just a few examples of people using subs for the first race of the season:

Season 14, BLS_F1yer used VLR_BG as a sub at Florence
Season 16, WFO_Rainman used WFO_ICE as a sub at Terre Haute 2k11
Season 18, BLS_Jason used BLS_BW as a sub at East Bay
Season 18, JFR_4h used JFR_A2D as a sub at East Bay
Season 19, VLR_JW used VLR_Shock as a sub at Thunder Valley

So of all those examples, only ONE has been a VLR member, which throws out the VLR favoritism angle KKKarl is taking.

Your talking to the hand Shock, Im not the one that started the Right Call, Im just the messenger.
and the complaint is that you didn't go by your own written rules and the fact is you didn't and it was in VLR's favor so you do what you think is best for your league, you can talk about all the times you unfairly did the same thing you did this season and since you have done it every season you should have posted it in your own rules. so there wouldn't be any controversy over your rules. So what your telling me and the 9 others that called the Right Call is to fuc off and don't race VLR if you don't like it.
thats the way your going to handle the fact that you broke the VLR rules to allow JW to recieve points for the 2nd week when you were ahead of him in points. Your a hell of a man you stand for nothing and your word is sh*t. you are the 1st one to point out others leagues rules or decisions and cry like a baby untill you get your way. Ill tell the others your decision and we will remember this day, believe me your not as famous as you think.

I wasn't ahead of JW in points. If I was, I couldn't have subbed for him.

And who said I was famous? I would hope I wasn't...

sorry to take over a thread but
i think it makes sorta sense

bls modified madness is in no way , shape or form associated with right call
while some people from bls may be associated with right call , modified madness is not

bls modified madness is under the sole control of bls deadbolt , all calls are final after i make a ruling

no one will or can sway what i call as official rulings for races that are ran under my sole guidance/control/promotion
i stand alone behind all calls that are made for my series
and i would really hope people realize im not fkn around with my series as i dq'd myself in week1
They say the dead don't rest without a marker of some kind.

Deadbolt, I know you, and I think you have always been a stand up guy. I also think if you made mistake and mis quoted your rules or made a call that someone hit you up about you would handle it professionally, you would as you did in week1 you would make it right like I would do and have done many times. I believe you have all your I's dotted, and knowing you the way you are you would want to just make it right or at the least change your rules to cover what you do. and I think that would be acceptable but to ignore what a lot of people take serious might get some feathers ruffled.

I've made an executive decision regarding Karl's issue. This was tough and I will reflect the change ASAP in the rules.

Due to negligence on the part of VLR_JW for having me to sub for him for two consecutive races, I have decided to ban JW from competing in VLR events for the rest of the Fall 2012 season. Since JW's absence will be due to circumstances out of his control, I have decided to let him have a substitute for the remaining events on the VLR schedule, provided the sub is equal or lower to JW in points.

I hope Karl will forgive me for screwing everything up.

And who said I was famous? I would hope I wasn't... YOU DID: YOU SAID YOU WAS ASK FOR YOU AUTOGRAPH

Autograph session at Crossville Wal-Mart tomarr at 5pm btw guys.

YOU TRIED THAT NOONE SHOWED UP

I thought Right Call was dead. If it was any good it'd still be getting used. WRONG: I WAS ASK LAST WEEK ABOUT A LEAGUE USING IT, IT'S THE BEST WAY TO KEEP GUYS LIKE YOU FROM A LOUSY CALL OR RULING. ITS THE POWER OF MANY PLAYERS TO GET A FAIR CALL AGAINST ONE ASS. IT DON'T MATTER WHOS LEAGUE IT IS IF YOU UPSET 20 PLAYERS AND THEY WANT TO MAKE A RIGHT CALL YOU WILL HAVE SOME SPLANING TO DO LUCY.

That's because the program does it in alphabetical order, doofus. We had the same amount of points. Just J comes before S. So actually MY name would've been under JW's, not the other way around.

Ill forgive ya for making a mistake as soon as you correct the points and change your rules to reflect if you are tied in points you can sub for requestion driver, its that simple.

The rules page was updated last night, before you even made your post. ICE brought it to my attention earlier in the day and I fixed it. So you haven't looked at the rules page since last night I'm guessing...

I didn't make the first post last night, when i did go and look they were not changed and I copied and pasted them into my orignal post the way they was on your site and when I looked at week 2 points your name was in 3rd and JW was at the bottom of the points list. that why I know you was ahead in points you posted you was 3rd.

Karl's just jealous because I'm famous. It's only because I lived in the same state as Faschek at one time. He has that effect on people.
