I am trying to get the damn clutch out of my 99 jeep cherokee if any knows the best way to do it please let me know... i was going to pull bell housing with everything still hooked up tranny and transfer case and try to just slide em back far enough to get the clutch and pressure plate out but the bell housing is hitting on fire wall what i really wanna know is is just easier to unhook tranny from the bellhousing and just drop everything like that or is there a way to do it the way i wanted?

is it 4x4 ? Drop the motor down to get the housing off. The tranny has to come out!!! BUT You NEED a clutch allignment tool to line up the NEW clutch plate, you can rent one at your local Auto Zone or w/e,

down here most clutch kits come with the alignment tool.
