Actually, if you hold the neutral to long befor shifting or if you miss a gear it will over rev the engine and blow it up.
I'm not sure about a big track if it make s a difference or an add-on track but the defaults it does.

so i guess i am a cheater at the 1 mile tracks cuz i am fast....i don't hypershift i am smooth and can hold my own just because someone is fast doesn't mean they are hypershifting or cheating i have been told to quit hypershifting at a league race before a replay was even watched i just think slow people need to practice a tad more and they will get there....i am not as fast as wheel or shock but if i practiced for days on end i bet i would be

Maybe, but Wheel and I usually only practice 30 minutes or less before a race. After a while you get used to the feel of the cars and tracks so you don't have to practice much, especially if it's a track you've raced at before

paddle here i tryed wheel both on this game nascar and rf no ty i like paddle. guys at nascar told me i couldnt be competive at nascar without a wheel well leading 3 of 4 races i ran for 30 laps at a time and staying out trouble i think i did good i had to adjust setings but i am beter with controler perfubaly ps2 lol

ice i won my first race there,led 35 of 40 laps at the next one where it took you and brad 35 laps to catch me drafting together,i just raced there at SRF led 20 of 40 laps before Shock and JW got by me....i would say i am fast at one mile tracks....
