in my area the stocks look like damn late models

Come up north some DB. I noticed that when I was around some of the tracks towards PA. Even southern NY tracks, they look like IMCA/UMP frames with Prostock noses on them. I've been hearing Montes and Camaros called Street Stocks so when I saw those it was a "holy crap, what the hell is that?" moment.

Here in Selinsgrove PA, Pro Stock guys are putting camaro/monte front clips on late model chassis. Non rusted out 70's camaro's are getting hard to find around here. Don't know why they just don't create a limited late model class so guys don't have to butcher up perfectly good late models.

is a neat video.. I cant say they are stock though DB.. THey had racing tires and quick steer I used to run a pure stock 99.9% stock class. Couldn't even change trans. Howdy do i get vhs tapes onto youtube But yea anymore our "street stock" class has about half field lookin like that and rest wanna be latemodels. they are more "prostock" if anything. But we dont have purestocks or prostocks around here anymore. And we have ran stock chassis for years untill recently when i got into mods. how the hell are some "street stocks" lifting left front a foot off the ground and able to drive them, without altering trailing arms i still dont know ps on a side note. i have raced a "pure stock" race that included a camaro, a station wagon, an el camino and a truck in same race. not too mention the other ten "g body" cars, gj to the 17 too. he did have some patience
