We will be starting a regular series this coming Saturday Morning at 11:00 am. It will be the same format for those of you who ran last weekend.
SDLM vs SDLM Pro

It will be in VLR vents and servers

Standard VLR rules apply. Points will be kept for the series with one substitution allowed.

Again, drivers who have at least one VLR victory in the last five seasons have the SDLM Pro, the rest will run SDLM's. Here is the list of drivers who must run SDLM Pro. Once you win a race in the SDLM, you will have to switch to the SDLM Pro.

I don't have any prizes lined up but I am working on it. Points will be the same as VLR. After the first week, Amain lineups will be set by average finish with the drivers with the worst starting up front. We will run time trials everyweek, so get some practice in.

New drivers are welcomed and encouraged to show up. I will try to post my setup before the race everyweek. I am often around in the morning during the week if any newbies want some setup help or have questions.

Posted my set, an .85 I think was my top lap time in a SDLM.

Posted my Gen 5 set. Took a lot of doing but I got down to a .89. SDLM is still faster and more consistent. I ran some laps in a default with my Gen 5 set and was hitting similar times.

Congrats to JFR_Fascheck on the clean sweep of the Saturday Morning Shootout. JFR is #1 again. He took the pole ,the heat, and the Amain. For the rest of the season Fas has to switch to the Gen 5 Chassis. Fas and the B1 machine had a good battle for the lead early in the race, but once Fas shook Brian off his draft he started pulling away. Then it was Shocks turn. After starting deep in the field he made his was past LP, then Brian and gave the 4 car all he could handle the rest of the way. Good job to Shock as the top finishing Gen 5 this week.

Thank you all for coming out this week. Next weeks track is Outlaw 2017. I will post my set for SDLM later this week, and see if I can make up a Gen 5 set later as well.

Sounds like it was a good race. Sorry I forgot. It was nice out and I was playing Pokemon GO. Told the cat I'd be back in 15 mins and walked in 2 hours later. Sorry LP. I'll try to remember we have an AM race next week.

Change of schedule this week. We are going to the soon to be released Tri City instead of Outlaw. Shock should have it ready for download soon. I have a set for sdlm already and will work on gen 5 later this week. Track is really racey and not gay.

I have posted a SDLM set for Tri City. It is pretty fast, i can hit some .19s with it. Hope to see some more cars this Saturday Morning at 11 am. VLR Vent and servers.

Reminder this week I start handicapping the Amain lineup. Meaning the lineup will be set up by avg finish this week.

Shock comes from the 3rd starting spot and powers to the first win of the season for any Gen 5 car. The Gen 5s seemed to be at no disadvantage this week on the low line. VLR_KG froze on lap 18 and the race had to be restarted, erasing the enormous lead that Shock had built up. LP and Shock battled hard after the restart all the way to the checkered, swapping the lead several times, finishing almost side by side.

Average Finish for the year so far, remember top 6 get handicapped for the A main, lineup by reverse average finish. If you haven't raced yet, and you finish in a handicapped spot in your heat, you will start 6th. I made the series to give different people a chance to win races.

Big change next. We are going to forgo the Gen 5 and Default and switch for the rest of the season to SDLM Pro's. I really want the guys in the regular SDLM's to have an advantage and this week we saw the Gen 5s might have even been a little faster.

So you need to have SDLM and SDLM Pro chassis only for the rest of the season.

The driver list of those in the Pro will remain the same, with only Fascheck having to run the SDLM Pro since he won week one.

Just posted my set for this Saturday. Works for both cars. Reminder, we are switching to the SDLM vs SDLM Pro chassis program. Hope to see many cars Saturday morning @11 am. I think I have the time trial format setup figured out so hopefully it will be a smooth show. SDLMs seem pretty dominate on the lap times with my fastest lap of a .87 , meanwhile really struggling to get in the high .90's in the Pro. We will see where the bear shits in the woods on Saturday.

After time trials, please exit the server.
