I guess Kev said Lazy couldnt take any more of the bitching from certain people. The whole point of the series was to test new tracks, new formats, and most importantly have no drama, just for fun. Well, with the amount of bitching I think Lazy had enough, and hopefully he changes his mind and brings the series back at some point! Sucks that certain people ruined it, It was a lot of fun and got me playing the game alot more over the past two months.

If Shock is willing to let me use his servers and vent I can take this over....same format same cars...just a little different rules....if anyone is still interested in running this kind of series let me know and i will get with shock on the other stuff

Let me run the show when I'm there (it takes way to long every time I try to race, not because of you but because of all the talking and people seeing who can take longest to x in. We can talk after the race, which will take less than an hour to run the full show.)

We start either at 10pm et or 11pm et. I guess it would need to stay 11pm et since some leagues run at 10, but either way the show has to get going quicker. I have the lineup sheet thing that I can send you to Starnes that does random lineups fast and also spits b main lineups out 1 sec after you insert heat finishes that you can use on the nights I'm not there.

Let me know if you're willing to do this, but lineups have to start getting out no later than 11:05, idc if the promoter hasn't got practice yet. There would be a lot more cars that show up if the show wasn't still running past 12:30am and so I think we should shoot for getting all races done within an hour and with the lineup sheet we should be able to do that easily, just no wasted time. We can start tonight, I can find a track if no one has one in mind. After the race everyone who wants to stay up super late can talk it up in vent like usual while the ones who work in the mornings can go to bed at a reasonable time while still getting to race!

And one idea I have is that winner always picks track. If someone wins two nights in a row, then the 10th place finisher (or lowest A main finisher still in vent) picks the next nights track? Should it be like this or like Lazy had it?

Well, i been wonderin when this day would come, so many races ppl get irritated with each other after 2 months of racin every nite, a lot of stuff to keep track of by the promotor( kudos to Lazy, he been doin the best he can i believe) burnout may have set in causing real Madness.

With some overhaulin of a few things i think this deal could go on, Im a racer not a promotor but i have a few ideas that i believe would work.

If its over its over but we all should thank Lazy for havin the ballz to ever start a deal like midnite madness every nite for the most part its been a hoot especially racing mothballed tracks IMO.

Just let me run the show. Mother(bleep)ers will earn fast to shut the (bleep) up or they just wont race. Pretty simple. Drama just seems to be part of DTR 2, and if you can't tolerate it or if it's not within your means, then hosting a league is not for you.

Shock if you pick a track tonight post it under this thread so we know what we are running and we will lay the rule format down quickly before the race starts....bw get with me later on your thoughts of things that need changed and we will work on that also.

I just love how ya'll have all these sudden ideas when I have'nt said a word to anyone exept you Shock.I tell ya with friends like this who the hell needs enemies!I'd at least have the decency to find out whats going on before I go trying to take over someone elses shit!This kind of lack of respect is exactly what ruins shit for the ones that do have respect.Not one person have I spoke to about anything except Shock and for any one to assume "anything" without 1st knowing or hearing it from me is just wrong.

Yeah I could make a mm.teamvlr.com or something for a website and put our points program on it although it's not the easiest to learn at first if you've never done a website, but alternate method would be to use a Freewebs.com site and keep track of points in a spreadsheet or something. Think if lineups come out and you're not in the server after we do two hots, we just keep going. No talking in vent during heats

So I figured something happened last night to make you shut it down since you had talked about it before with how people are always fighting and stuff. Still I wish the races went quicker so I could race it more. I think last night I would've been tough to beat at that track

Well Lazy i did say in vent that you had had enough.As far as people taking it over is kinda sketchy.I think that your series is a great thing for this game,You got alot of peeps to race at a time where there were no races.I just think running every nite will catch up with any promoter.I know you had been planning this series for a long ass time,not just some half assed shit thrown together in a day or two.As far a tonite if you are still running it RB won and picked trego flatts i think that's wat its called.Well i hope to be running tonite at Lazy's Midnite Madness not some half baked knock off.Well lazy if you need anything let me know.Let the madness live on Lazy.

It wouldn't be half baked, just faster. All those people thought he was shutting it down and they didn't want it to die is all, it's not like it was some bad evil thing people were doing. You see a site disappear out of the blue then you wonder what happened.

so, this is something you guys have been doing every night. i didnt know it was that often and had no idea there was a dedicated site. i thought it was like once a week.
