Welcome to Dirt Track Racing 2!!! We are a very family oriented community from BFF's to BFE's (enemies) But in the End we all still have a great time!!! Most of us that run are very aggresive and race to win, some are less aggresive, but still race to win! 1st off YOU MUST HAVE SETUPS!!! You can download them off of any site pretty much, I have mine on here, BLS Jason! Setups! and they will go right into your game just click RUN! Ask people if you have problems, 99% of the people that run on here WANT you to be fast, and competetive so they will help you, remember WE WERE ALL NEW AT ONE TIME!!!. Please read the TUTORIAL PAGE to learn how and where to put your downloads. There are plenty of websites that have a "Rookie Book", PLEASE READ THOSE!!! Click on the BLS team link in the Schedule area and they have a "Read This" tab!!! If you are on a laptop, or have a wireless connection, you will probably be "kicked out" or asked to leave because of your "Ping Rate", which is how long your computers connection takes to travel from your house to the server and back to your house. DSL is usually the best way to go!!! If your ping rate is higher than 125, your car will be seen sideways and spinning, this is called "warp" AND THEREFORE IT'S VERY HARD TO RACE A CAR DRIVING BACKWARDS!!! My advice if you want to learn how to have fun in DTR2, would be to have a very good "PC to Server to PC" connection or a "Low Ping Rate", which mine is usually 12 to 60. The main server is in Chicago,IL, the closer you are to the server, the better the ping in some cases! Again, TY for joining our Family and we can't wait to see ya on the track!!!
