Had that happen around here. One of the friday night tracks switched to asphalt 2 years ago because the neighbors (in houses that were pretty much JUST built) complained about the dirt and dust.

You would think that the city would have Grandfathered in the track in it's current state when the people decided to build there and put that into the land contract that they could not, in their lifetime, oppose the track, it's spectators, or the noise ordinance law. Or that for the track to keep participating in it's events, that it should 1. deem the track to be wetter 2. Build a wall or building to deter the dust or noise 3. stop racing at 11

Well, its not all bad. They've been asphalt for a while now and they were before, the just had the clay over the asphalt underneith, and now I believe the track has NASCAR sanctioning (or however the hell you spell it)
