To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

thank goodness they make cars that take impact so drivers dont sometimes even the best built race cars can lead to drivers being hurt but not near as bad as with no safty devices

My favorite driver, before Mark Martin was the #6 of Rich Vogler. I was at the track @ either Winchester or Anderson IN, I think it was Win. but anyway, when exiting turn 4 the car turned right and hit the wall head on, we seen his helmet roll down the track, and when we looked in the car, his neck was stretched way out, I would say close to a forearms length, Broken! That was way before the Hans device. He was in the famous USAC #69 Champ Car!

Yea the day after Rich was scheduled to make his, then, Winston Cup debut at Pocono.

Plus it was actually Salem Speedway where he was killed.

if memory serves , the wreck is from 1996 , the drivers name is jack bland , not sure if its the same driver form nascar in the early 80s or not , but the driver did brake a leg and had some other minor injuries , he continued to race after that not sure how long tho , currently i believe nathan durboraw drives for jack bland in the number 41 late model
They say the dead don't rest without a marker of some kind.

This isn't really a crash but it did have a pretty big impact on the 2006 season. There was tons of rain and flooding thru NY.
