I dang near broke a thumb once backing a semi when the front tire just barely caught a curb and the steering wheel made a couple revolutions at about 200 mph! Like I said its just a habit and one that just about any racer will tell ya they've done before. And to answer your ? if there was a way to truely find out I'd bet a c-note theres been a few for sure.

Kasey Khane let go now of the wheel while wrecking. This is the most I've seen it happening and the first time I've seen somebody other than Danica do it. This kinda takes away any joking because "The chick let go of the wheel". 5 time let go and now one of the Dirt guys did it.

I've done it, smacked the wall and let go right before...cause when I first started racing, my 2nd weekend out I was leading my heat race, lost power steering, and got knocked sideways by the 2nd place car, then the 3rd place car finished me off and when he did he caught my LF wheel and it didn't break my wrist but it damn sure sprained it pretty good and I was out the next week cause my hand and wrist was still swollen up. I don't see anything "stupid" by what her or 5 time did by letting go of the wheel. Can't make any money with a broke wrist and you see exactly where Jimmie got hit, LF...even if he would have kept his hands on the wheel and tried to drive out of the wreck he was finished for, someone would have got him, they were on lap 2 in a huge cluster F*** of cars..

Actually she could make money with a broken wrist Woods. She's not in NASCAR because of her talent that's for sure. If they were going after the most talented Indy Car drivers there's a lot more that would have went before her

Wonder if Go Daddy goes in her ? They must be putting up some serious bucks!!!

Hell that makes her a hoe now that i think about - paying her to drive it hard and put it in deep - maybe .........oh hell never mind.!
