i see alot of forums on here with new comers who dont have the actual CD/Game.so i decided to help all the Rookies who dont have the game.first of all youll need a few files.

1.Dtr2 Full Game Download

2.PowerISO

3.WINRAR

4.DTR2 No Cd Patch

all these files are located on the VLR site

NOTE:just scroll through to find all the files

NOTE:DTR2 is on the 2nd page

after you get these files just follow the steps below

1.install evrything except DTR2 and the no cd patch For now

NOTE:if you are famailiar with using iso programs you can use poweriso to burn the iso image file to disk and install DTR2 from a Disk,if you have no blank disk and/or dunno how to us an iso image file burner you can go to the next step or if yo find next step easier.if not burning the image file with iso software.i find it easier and more convient to use winrar to unpack the iso files.but know how to use iso software.

2.assuming winrar is installed,right click on the name.iso file(don't know how its named in the folder since i run a cd)
extract to its named folder

3.open up the named folder you extracted and run the setup.exe file to installs dtr2.

4.after dtr2 is installed open the no cd patch and install it.

if you wanna run addon tracks,chassis skins,ect.
you can read the tutorial section on vlr under community dtr2 tutorials for help installing these files
