what do these number mean

threshold = 12.0
commitment = 0.15

I haven't played with this, although if one was using it in a series, I'd have to say it can make it easier to get sponsorship or it's harder, depending on the size of numbers.... I checked with some old Leadfoot Sponsors from that game and the more important the sponsor is, the higher the numbers are. Threshold, I'm not sure about but the number size obviously matters. The lowest sponsor was thresh = 1.5 and commit - 0.600000...
the highest sponsor being 13.0 to 3.0
However, the one before this was..
sponsor = 15.0 to 0.75.
Relating the two may be a trial and error to which is easier or better, but to me the threshold should mean the lower the number, the less in payout you get from that sponsor. Commitment..? I would say it governs how easy it is to gain that sponsor.
Otherwise, I am of no help to you... But I hope this does make some kind of sense, to you.
