Na, ask away...that's how you get answers and help.

Assuming you followed the ExtractPF.txt file in your games directory, you will probably find the unpacked files in your C:\Data folder. If you do not have a folder called that...check in your games data directory, which should be this:

C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\data

If you still cannot find them then just let us know and we'll try to help you.

Might be in C:\Program Files (x64)\ or something if you have that folder.

Just search on your computer for like Rodeo or something and see where the folder is and the rest of the tracks should be in the folder where it finds Rodeo. If you don't find any track folders then you might not have extracted it right or something.

If you are unpacking the game DTR2 data files that are inside the game, which you dropped on the Mod's folder, ExtractPF that's inside of it, then you go to My computer, C/ drive/documents and settings/you the user and you'll see inside of that a yellow folder named Data. You should find them all in there.
Let us know if it's something contrary to this.

Doesn't sound like you are doing it right...

This is the easiest way I know how to do it

GO to your C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\mods folder.

In there you should see the ExtractPF.exe file...

Now just go back to your main dtr2 folder, which should be C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\

In there, find the files, data.pf, min.pf, and store.pf.

Select them and copy and paste them into your mods folder where your Extractpf.exe file is.

Now, you should be able to drag each of them one at a time over top of the Extractpf.exe file and they will automatically extract themselves.

You can then find them here:

C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\data

Look in your tracks and all the default tracks will be in there, then look in your cars folder and all the game cars will be in there. And if you go to your skins folder all your skins should be in there.

Let me know if you have problems with that step, but I've found that the easiest way to use and to be able to find them.

Heya Hippie,
Good to see that we're never too old to give anything a try. I'm a learner too, in the over 50's club. I couldn't explain it quite like Shock could but between us all, you did it. That's great!!!!
