Squirrel, the videos are cool, but I do have a couple suggestions. One, they are really choppy, at least on my end. It looked like you were using the zdsoft program or whatever to capture your screen as the videos played in Windows Media Player. In dtr2 when you made them, did you do the "Export to movie" button or whatever, where it takes forever to export it?

Anyway, here is what I suggest.

1. Download Fraps. This is a screen recording program that you download and when you open the replay in dtr2 you just press F9 or whatever button you set the record button to and it will record whatever is on your screen. I've used it a lot and it isn't choppy for me at all.

2. You press F9 (or whatever button you assign in Fraps) again to stop recording. It saves a huge file on your computer in .avi video format which you can upload to YouTube. What I like to do, though, is open that video up in Windows Movie Maker and then just re-save it, because it reduces the file size a lot. And since you are making highlight videos, you may use that program already, which is good. I can help you more this evening if you're interested.

yeah seem lil bit choppy but think its alot to do with original replay ..but will try ur suggestions..someone else had mentioned that fraps program also 2 me ...i did another one for mcgee lil better,..but will check out what u are sayin i didnt use anything exporting out of dtr2 like ur saying...i'll look into it, thx for the advice ...squirrel

Yeah squirrel and Fraps makes the video while you play the replay, unlike having to wait for dtr2 to export the entire replay. And fraps you can press F9 to turn the recording on and off which means you don't have to export a lot of replays out of dtr2, you can just press F9 to record a quick highlight of say McGee winning, and then F9 again to stop the recording, and there's one video. Then you can open another replay and press F9 on say a big wreck, and then press F9 again to stop it and make cool highlight videos.

The Video dtr2 exports may be what makes it choppy, too, so using Fraps is a lot smoother in that area too it sounds like. You should get it, though, I know you could make some awesome videos with it and have more functionality.
