I think it would be cool if everyone would list what they drive with on dtr2...not just steering wheel, controller, or whatever, but the actual kind and stuff.

I use an Xbox 360 Wired controller and I like that it just plugs right into the USB port and you can just go right on racing from there.

Mine cost me I think 39.99 at Wal-Mart but www.tigerdirect.com has them for like $22.99. I made the mistake of buying a cheapo 360 controller at first, though, and it wasn't comfortable at all, so you really should get the one the Microsoft makes.

What do you drive with in dtr2?

logitech "momo" wheel..2 yrs old, been took apart 5 times, taped up 3 times both on column and pedals(so wont slide) taped to the floor. shifter broke..fixed but realized it's easier 2 shift with the mouse pad..right click gear up left gear down..drive 1 handed..gas pedal got to only calibrating up to bout 95%, so i figured out how 2 use the brake pedal 4 the gas["G" key on keyboard is brakes, but aint got but 2 hands so....)..ummm 2x4 up under the comp table as a shim so column not jerked off desk(like when i used to run feedback on) oh and and thats abt it i guess, except 4 sometimes i wear my full face motorcycle helmet to simulate more real life action maybe so to speak (only when mama aint home cuz she'd bust on me or tell her mama)..lol.

Glad i'm not the only person to do that[with the helmet]..

Dang McGee I can't imagine having to go through all that trouble lol. My respect of your driving just went up, especially how you race so clean driving with one hand considering I can't even make a lap with my wheel in dtr2. & LMAO at you using a helmet...I have my old go kart helmet around here somewhere I may have to try it out once and see if im faster.

i use a daul action logitech paddle sorta like ps2 paddle i got from walmart.com for 15$ had for 4 years now

I PM'd "Tuck" and found out we went to school together from basically Middle School to when I moved to Tennessee...so yeah that's crazy! I told him that you lived up there too but were originally from Georgia, which happens to be where I was born haha.

Yes it is a small world .... Now back to the subject.. Myself I use a Momo Wheel/Pedal with Force feedback that I bought like 7 years ago at Best Buy..Still in great condition considering it hasn't been used alot in the past few years..When I race usually try to run the incar view as much as possible...Have tried keyboards and failed so the wheel is the best for me and thats not saying to much as I was never the fastest out there but I finished. yenko2
