I'm working on a launcher, and technically have it working just need to run some tests on remote clients, for downloading and launching DTR2 using the files from the installer on this site. Is this something the community would be interested in? The attached photo is a screenshot of overall client side launcher as it stands.

That would be pretty cool especially if it's easy enough for everyone to figure out and could help install new tracks as they become released!

Yeah I'll work on finishing it up into a more workable state over the next few days. As of right now it's capable installing the game and allowing update pushes for the main client, as well as being a mod depository that can auto install mods into the users game folder

Alright, here is a link to a site I threw up last night. On the downloads page is the Dirt Hub app. From my testing the game install, modpack update, and basic social features are implemented and working. As well as the launcher update process. Right now Windows is throwing a warning for the app because it has no publisher. I'm working on that next, but I can't guarantee a time frame. Also working on basic voice chat capability. Registering on the app is NOT required, and does not require an email or anything. Just a username and password.

If you're worried about it being safe, I'll ask you this. Aren't there larger groups of people I could target is its dangerous?

Well ran into a couple major bugs. But also got a couple bigger features done. I'll repost a link when it's in a more complete state. Shock, when it's up an running fully, I can make you an admin and show you how to push updates.

Shock, here is the link to the page to download the installer from. I found this to be easier overall. Right now its designed to use Zip folders to 'install' the game files, I can change that in a future version if you'd prefer. I think that everything is working well enough for an initial public release now. Bear in mind, all the game files I have, which are in the launcher now, are from about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
