Hey Hoover, I am using Win8.1 and I havn't had any probs. Tell me what's going on, and maybe I can get ya fixed up! One thing I do know is that Win8 does not come with DirectX, so if you don't have that, get it and it should fix your probs. I run my screen in 1440X900 also!
