Good-BYE DTR2 an hello iracing.. Ive decided to give iracing a shot drt2 just isnt what it used to be for me anymore to many sketchy things goin on any more for my liking so gona focus my efforts in iracing ive talked to a few other guys that are racing it an said its alot of fun so i bought a membership today an been testing seems pretty fkn sweet imo.. ill finish out my bb series then im done with dtr2 had enough..

It does look fun man. Good Luck in Iracing! I will race when i have a little more time, not sure if my pc will pull it either. If i had the time for more simracing i would make sure i had a better pc though.

Good Luck. I tried iracing and there is too much money involved for me. If you wanna try some good old Nascar Racing, try SCE( www.stockcarevolution.com ) it's a 2013 rfactor stand alone, and they make new improvements every year and take what ever Nascar is doing at the time and put it in the rules or track configs. We are about to switch over to Rf2 real soon, so the tire wear is gonna be way more close to real life. For the money (free) it's way better than iracing I have heard. At least you don't have spend a house payment to get in the CUP series.

well to many cheaters in rfactor i did that for awhile to easy to cheat and get away with it.. really cant cheat in iracing.. its driver agianst driver.. and iracing isnt a house payment.. hell i paid $15 for 3 months..

In Tennessee, $15 is a house payment.

Check out the home page at SCE. It is a Stand Alone Version with no possible way to cheat with the files they have added, and they have some pretty good engineers working on this game to make it better or as good as iracing, (drivability and graphic wise) Plus 99% of the people there are damn good people and mature that have no reason in the world to cheat. They have an Elite series which is invite only all the way to a Senior League that I run on Sundays ( must be 35 or older to race) and you can cheat in iracing, here are some links to posts about it insidesimracing.tv/forums/topic/6518-does-iracing-still-suck/

I hope you do great with iracing, I was just trying to give you some cheaper options, and you know as well as I do that people will find way to cheat n everything, that's why the guys at SCE have came up with a file that will not let you race unless you have EVERYTHING that is required on the server, no less and no more, and nothing changed. You are going to love iRacing. it cost about the same as getting 2 new PS3 games a year unless you want to go crazy and get a ton of add-ons right off...Ive been playing for 2 years and I spend between 100-120 a year on it. When you signed up I used that $10 credit and got the Nascar Gen6 car. Get the Late Model it is by far the most fun car they run IMO and I have a ton of pretty good sets you can have.

I heard it can get pretty expensive in Nascar, buddy of mine told me he is spending $15 a week just for the track, and $10 a month, that's $70 a month plus his net bill, and that rounds out to about $130 a month. I would LOVE to get out there and race with those guys in Nascar, but SCE is way cheaper and you get pretty much the same effects, without the wife gripping at ya. If you do get up into Nascar let me know if it's any cheaper for you, I just don't see paying $15 for a track to run, and not even being guaranteed your gonna get to race. If you don't like paying that much for stuff, lemme know and I will get you set up with SCE, it's a blast, ask Wheel n Shock they have ran it before.

You can spend that but for me I only buy the track when I want to and may only buy a track every month or 2. If your going to run the Nascar schedule you may have to spend 30-45 a month on tracks. I run the late models and they only run about 15 different tracks a year and quite a few of those are the ones you got when you got in the service. But you don't need to worry about running with the NASCAR cars for awhile because you have to work your way up the license ladder. They have a deal every thanksgiving where you can get a year long subscription for $50 so that is usually my Christmas present.
