VLR FAST 10'S ARE BACK

VLR Fast 10's are BACK (2023)! Click here to view! Simply join 74.91.122.77:32263 IP in DTR2 and set the laps to 10 in default late models for your time to show up!

To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

Date: 3-19-13
Time:Qualifying starts at 5:00ct and runs till 7:00ct Racing will begin at 7:30ct
Chassis: Gen5
Track:Lawrenceburg Speedway 2k13
Laps: 100

I did check the schedule page and MACS ends this month and nothing else is scheduled on Tuesdays so if anyone starts a league please keep that day and time open.

Because this has been a staple in DTR2 for 7 years now and really has more to do with the DTR2 community than it does with DOIT plus I have always cleared this event with whoever was running on that week and it has never been an issue. I dont control the scheduling for DOIT or anyone else I am just trying to keep a pretty darn good race going.

The Spring Fling is probably the biggest race in DTR2 each year. To me it's like the Daytona 500 in NASCAR because it's like the only annual race I know of in dtr2 and it's been around forever. I think everyone should attend it because it has a lot of prestige and tradition...and my God, did you see how last years race finished??? Also Lawrenceburg is an awesome track to have it on.

PS Doit is horrible and I'm about to make a post on that. I can't believe how arrogant they are with their schedule. They are quickly f*cking this game up. Or 'my game' as Karl refers to it.

Well I was really hoping that this topic could stay on topic. I personally think this is the best race of the year and not because I put it on but because the entire community comes out to race it. Like I said I try to work with whatever teams may be running that week to make it as good of a show as you can. This race has nothing to do with DOIT VLR BLS WFO and nor any other teams that are running and it never has, it is a community race that 30-45 drivers usually show up to for the prestige and tradition, as Shock put it.

i take a little pride in this event as promoter and only two time winner. this race and the gobbler 100are the biggest and only annual events. lets keep them going and bring as many as we can together for this one..and by golly its almost regular season dirt track racing. lets smile...
