I always put them on Youtube and then just link them over to here. You might be able to do the same with facebook. How was the race?

I tried putting 'em up on YouTube, but there were green lines through it ... I'll prolly try again later. The race was AWESOME!!! Between Montoya wrecking Newman and Kenseth wrecking Stewart and Smith wrecking Danica, we had a bunch of fun! You shoulda come with us Shock!!

I was kinda busy Saturday night ;) I didn't see but the last 40 laps or so of the race. It actually looked pretty cool. Guys were still goin up high but it was different from when they repaved it. It reminded me of dtr2 races. I did see Kenseth wreck Stewart though. Sounds like the old Bristol is comin back!

I pose this question to any race fan who sits in the stands. Would you rather see a 1 groove racetrack that the cars run high or low? Basically the "old" Bristol was 1 groove..Low. Driver's either had to wait on a car to make a mistake or give him the ol' bump n run and scoot on by. Now you as a fan sitting on the 1st few rows at Bristol even in say turn 4..the cars go in 3 diving to the bottom and o no i only see the top of the car because of that hauler and "hospitality" crap there. Point is Bristol now after the top groove was cut down reminded me alot of Darlington but way closer racing and bumping and all the great tight racing that fans truely love....AND you can see them up there!!! As I read somewhere yesterday Humpy wanted to get them off the top and make the racing closer..no 3 wide stuff and looooong green flag runs. Well the plan kinda worked but guess what?? They found the fast line at the top but the racing "line"...fast line turned out to be kinda diamonding the turns like Darlington but definately NO 3 WIDE racing...barely even 2 wide after they strung out some. Maybe I'm wrong here or maybe it was just because we were there Sat night..then again, maybe with TV coverage these days old Bristol was better, but as a "fan" that was there in '95 when Earnhardt caught Labonte on last lap and turned him off 4 but backed off to let him recover and win sideways across the fin line, I still liked this racing better as a whole Sat night.

Bristol was awesome! :woohoo: Always is! :woohoo: I think we are gonna try to camp at the track next year. We normally stay in knoxville, but calculate the gas, hassle and extra time spent driving... it wouldnt be much more. :P

as for the racing action... it was great! We were there for the Mods, Trucks, Nation wide, and cup races... all were good! For anyone who has never been.... make it a priority!

And why exactly did you not let anyone know you were going? We coulda met up somewhere! =)

We'll camp next time too ... except in one of those campgrounds right next to the track. Phuck all the walkin' up hills and crap! And all the damn waitin' to get outta there. Lawdy have mercy! We got back to the car around 11:45. Didn't get outta Bristol, VA tho til 2am. Got home around 4am. Took us longer to go 2 miles than it did to go 200! =)

Well Mama T, really my only answer is - I am an idiot! - :) I actually talked to Shock a bit while I was there on Yahoo Messenger, but that was while we were in Bulls Gap on Thursday. Great Pizza joint there! Nice little dirt ring there too. Next year I will let everyone know. We have first option for these seats for spring and fall race every year. Waltrip - Section DD - row 14. Love'em. I will sure let you all know next year though! As for the camping, we will be on the hill right out side the track in the American Campground (still trying to get in there, but it looks good so far). I like climbing the hill, but I'm not right anyway! :silly:

Not sure if we will make spring race.... we usually sell those tix off. We are in Turn 3, but really there's not a bad seat in the house. Been goin' since 08.
