I want to respond to a deleted post by TXR_Rowdy that was in my email about why less people run TXR.
I don't run TXR because it's so late. And I REALLLLLY wanted to race the Corr Trucks series full time but work at 6:00 the next morning sucks when the races start at 11. I would guess you would get 5-10 more cars if the time was different but not overlapping another team.
As far as the different tracks goes, that's a positive thing to me. I like running the unique ones with bumps or one grooves or whatever...it's more challenging.
But I would say if you moved the time to 8 or 9 pm eastern car counts would be double digits every race as long as everything was fair and ran smooth.
It has nothing to do with Right Call Wrong Call or whatever else, and no one is protesting TXR...it's just a matter of the time for most of us cause a lot of us work first shift. If I worked second I would be at TXR every race because that would be one of the few races I could run.
