My favorite team is the team ESPN is calling "the team that will be most improved in 2012" after injuries took our our two best players for much of last season, with incoming offense recruits that will make Tennessee's offense one of the most explosive in the country. Tennessee has the best receiving group in the country with the return of SEC leading receiver 5* Da'Rick Rogers, 5* Justin Hunter, who's coming off an ACL injury which took him out on the first play of the third game of last year (He is better than Da'Rick!), and newcomer 5* Corradelle Patterson, who is a JUCO transfer and will make the Vols offense potent in addition to incredible QB Tyler Bray, who is projected as a first round draft pick, and first overall on some boards, despite missing 6 games last year with an injury. All four of these guys are Jr's but expected to go in the first round of the NFL draft next season.

ooking for just one more reason that Derek Dooley should be expected to post a winning season at Tennessee in 2012?

Well, Dooley welcomes back the No. 1-most-experienced team in the SEC. They're No. 2 the entire nation, which is a 71-slot improvement from their No. 73 national ranking in 2011.

Even though the Vols went just 5-7 in 2011, Phil Steele’s calculations show that they return 80 percent of their yardage producers and 76 percent of their tackle earners from last year.

And don’t forget that, according to Rivals.com, Tennessee’s 2012 squad is built on the No. 10 recruiting class of 2009, the No. 9 group from 2010, the No. 13 class of 2011 and the No. 17 group from 2012.

Most Improved: Surprisingly, I’m going to go with Tennessee as the most improved. I think Tyler Bray has one of the strongest arms in the country. He also has two proven receivers in Justin Hunter and Da’Rick Rogers. Before Hunter tore his ACL/MCL last season, he was averaging 18.5 yards per catch. Bray also missed several games with an injury (thumb) and the Vols offense imploded. The offensive line should be improved and actually make the ground game relevant after ranking near the bottom of the barrel nationally last season, which will only open up Tennessee’s passing attack.

I think we will put up 60+ against Georgia State. They are terrible and even worse than I expected. So if we put any effort in at all we should score 60+ and I could easily see us shut them out because I was pleasantly surprised by our new 3-4 defense Friday night against NC State. 4 INT's and a safety!

I am native to WVa. And always pull for them , Even thou LSU is in my backyard,My wife being native to La. loves LSU.
