And Shock, you DO have Tri City, BMS made that one didn't he?

He did but the one he made is in Michigan. The one on the Lucas Oil schedule is the Tri-City in Pontoon Beach, Illinois

If this happens I'm hoping it could start by Thursday June 28, 2012 with the first race being at Portsmouth 2k13.

Followed by the next night at Muskingum County (with updated grip)

then Magnolia (Will have to be made from scratch as we don't have one already, and then followed by Tri-City (also will have to be made from scratch), and Lucas Oil Speedway.

It'll have to be a big undertaking to do this and not sure if that timeline is feasible. Also some tracks may not be out until just a couple of days before the race due to the amount that need fixed up

Ok this will likely be pushed back to the beginning of next year when the Lucas Oil series starts over. If we're lucky we could do a few races of it this fall to test it out.

Since this posting we have a few new tracks ready/almost ready like:

Dixie Speedway 2013 (by BMS & VLR trax)

Stateline Speedway (VLR, but will likely scrap the current base and redo, not sure yet.)

Virginia Motor Speedway 2013 (VLR Trax)
I-80 Speedway (VLR Trax)

Tracks planned to start soon:
I-77 Raceway Park (BLS Editing Team)

Tracks that need to be made/remade that aren't being worked on right now or planned to be yet:
1. Jackson Motor Speedway (MS)
2. Hartford Motor Speedway (MI)
3. Rome Speedway? (GA)
4. Fonda Speedway (NY)
All other older tracks could be touched up to race better, though.

What do you think about breaking it up into 4ths and and overall champion? That might keep the interest of someone that couldnt make it the 1st part or something like that

Well it's a sim series and it's meant to be hard. I don't expect many people if any to make all 40ish races, just like real life. It's not meant to be easy and the fact that many shows will run on back to back nights will make it even harder to make all of them for some people, but it'll still be really fun I think

What about other leagues that are running those nights?

and i know this isnt the first time ive had this thought

with 40 some races , and wanting to run back to back nights-sometimes....

this is where it can be split , have multiple teams work together under the series rules
and for arguement sake , vlr runs sundays , wfo runs mondays use those to as example only
the series could be spilt for points , with vlr points only for sunday , wfo points only for monday - so your not locked into runnin the whole 40 (if yoou dnt want to)
but points from both nights are tallied for the series poiints that consists of 40 some races

that way , itd be split like ice is suggesting , and whole like shock is suggesting

It doesn't matter to me, people can run where they wanna run. When the schedule starts we will make sure the time doesn't interfere with any other leagues (Likely on Thursday and Friday nights, or Friday & Sunday nights), and if any league schedules over it after that then that's their own decision to do so.

Yeah that would be a good option to go in on if another league is willing to do so with a decent time slot
