When running your online series how do you get the cars (users) to start in the right spot in the A Main? Always wanted to know how it is done as I have never raced a series race before (too high ping). As in Australia.

Thanks William

online , in the server , there are commands you type in that tell the server wht to do

for what your asking , its player points , its like this :
/setplayerpoints1 1000 or /spp1 1000

that would set the player in the irst slot in the server to 1000 points

you can set it to random grid mode , which provides a random start , gridmoderank sets it the assigned points , gridmodereverserank sets it to reverse where the lowest points person starts out front by themselves

hope that answers your question

Good question William...to add to what DB posted, here's kinda how we do it at VLR (most other leagues do it like this too)

If you have 3 heat races (Usually when there are around 21-25 cars that show up) the top 2 will transfer to the A while the rest run B's...anyway lets say VLR_18 is on the pole for the A main. You would just type

/listids

and get his ID in that server. Say his ID is 3

Then you would type /spp3 1000

to give him 1000 points
2nd 900
3rd 800
4th 700
etc...through 10th

then type
/setgridmoderank

This will make sure that Whoever has the most points will start first.

After getting the results of the top 10 we go through the B Mains starting with B Main 1 to determine who finished 11th (who was the first car not to transfer into the A main from the B), and the first car not to transfer from B2 finished 12th...and it keeps going until you have the results finished.
