It’s time once again for the running of the 6th Annual Spring Fling! This year we will be in Wheatland Missouri at one of the raciest tracks around at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Car count has been over 30 for 4 of the 5 years and over 40 twice so this is, year in and year out, one of the best shows of the year!

Past winners include:
2007 – Missouri Mudpit – WFO Rain
2008 – TDR v2 – OAS_Jay
2009 – Knox Day – WFO Ice
2010 – WFO Thunderbird – WFO Rain
2011 – Terre Haute 2k11 – Doit 5
We hope to see everyone in the game out to make this the best show of the year!!!

This is one race I've been tryin to win for years and can't seem to get anywhere close lol. VLR has never won it and you'd think with Wheel racin it every year he'd come away with it at least once. Im going to try to do a couple of cool prizes this year.

Fast Qualifier $10 Walmart Card

Winner of Race: Try to get a T-Shirt done (Shock do you still do these?)

Going to be a mystry winner of a $10 Walmart Card (Will use the randomizer after the race to pick the position for this)

I think I am going to line up the heats the way that VLR does it with the top 4 qualiers for each heat being inverted but starting the A-Main on off the qualifying times of the ones that make it.

Also there will be 1 feature at a time (IE: 1 E-Feature, 1 D-Feature, 1 C-Feature, 1 B-Feature, 1 A-Feature)

This way we will have a rundown from 1st to 100th if needed and it will help with they mystery winner as well.

Even though I am the one putting this race on I believe that it has grown bigger than just myself and I would like to make this a true DTR2 event with some imput from every major team. I would like to know if I could get a representative from each team to look over the rules and suggest any rules admindments by March 13th.

Is this rule in effect: Skins: Skins are required to be submitted before you can race a Doit-WFO Summer SiZZler 2011 Races, some exceptions will be allowed. I am going to get a skin pack together and post it the day before the race. I have done some editing to the rules. The main one is there will be cautions this year.

Just something thru my head recently. Everyone must have a skin for this race. It would kinda be cool to have no one run there name too while the race is going on so the only way you know who your racing is by their skin. Cuz name tags get in the way sometimes, just an idea.

And i suppose a fat joke too. Sign on McDonalds for an event sponsor or something, i am sure Ice has some connections with managers, stockholders, blah, idk. lol

I'll be the rep for ERL unless one of the other guys come on and say otherwise.

The rules look good, but since these are Gen5s and not the Gen4s, is there a strict rule on the transmission? Must run Auto, must run Manual or is it wide open and you can run whatever?

I'd use my real name but its longer than J-MAC, and that is an actual name I'm known by offline.
