So, after seeing everyone (including myself) whining about getting taken out and so forth I got to thinking about doing a promoters association type thing.

Have all league promoters meet somewhere and discuss all around rules (including cautions/time limits) so there's no confusion anymore on what rules each league runs and getting taken out and so forth.

Stuff like running wetness based on weather, damage on or off would still be up to the person running the league.

Its a game. They tell u the restart rule. And its common sense if u wreck someone ur gnna get penalized. not that hard.

The promoters wont agree on anything cuz everyone wants to run there series a lil different the other ones

All we would need is a certian set of base rules that everybody in the game can agree on. Like the no driving backwards during a race rule. Everybody can understand and agree on that...

With what J-Mac said that's basically what I'm going for...I'm sick of racing every night having to ask how many restarts and whatnot they'll have...

We all need to agree on a basic set of rules (how many restarts per race, how many cautions are allowed, time limits for each race, etc.)

People ALWAYS [bleep] about how to make this game better but when someone actually has a good idea they always call the idea dumb...

I say no promoters association. Reason this is not a buisness its a game. My rules are and will continue to be Heats - 2 rs 1st lap no freakin cautions. Dash - 8 Laps NO Restarts. Consi and A-Main 3 rs 1st lap one again NO CAUTIONS.

I think its pretty simple people can take the time to read the forum maybe they can take some time to go to the teams web page and read the rules besides if you pay att most people post it in chat before HWG how many restarts

None that I know of and I'm never bringing my car to that series if it does exist. But its one of those rules that are shared amongst all leagues and series. With the caution rules and other stuff, it's not going to be like a global mandatory rule, if you want it, then this is how the general consensus feels it should be done and you can use it in some manner that resembles this if you want to make changes for your series. If you choose not to use a rule like this then don't use it.

I am sorry guys...i kinda feel my rant after last weeks VLR race may have caused this ruckus. I also am not in favor of universal rule book. Every series has its own name tag and its own rulebook that is clearly defined.Everyone likes to run their own series a certain way. However there are a very few select people that seem to always use up all the restarts for themselves (Squirrel) .....how much bs does someone has to stir up on a nightly basis before enough is enough? I know he isnt like this on a nightly basis but is generally the norm and when he behaves is definitely the exception. Just my opinion.
