for all the rookie drivers and new people joining
with the new full dwnload of the game - the gen5 is included with skins and such

the best way to race for beginers is to join the browser races
the browser is found under the multiplayer section ingame
the browser is the best place to get seat time , while also getting used to racing around other online drivers

to join an online league race or fun run that is not in the multiplayer browser
you will need to check the DTR2 Master schedule(league races) or forum(fun run)
the master schedule is listed above -- hover over the community menu tab above , and click on dtr2 league schedule
that will show all league races available - and what track and chassis is needed for each

also , you will need ventrilo , download here : www.ventrilo.com/
ventrilo is FREE
most teams have different vents , some share vents
again hover over the community tab above - and click dtr2 vent servers , it will show you the info needed to sign into each vent
you will need to copy and paste the ip or hostname into vent and the port number

vent is how we talk to each other , mic is usually mandatory
there is a chat feature too with vent , that is what we use to post lineups and other info for each event

you do not need to learn how to make skins or tracks or chassis
we have many talented skin painters
and a few track and chassis designers
all you have to do is have the correct chassis , a skin for it , and track
and you can join any race
provided the above mentioned files are in the correct folders in game

still have guys joining browser races without the gen 5...i see the download from our site has them. "wut" part of my post did you not understand eric?

Hopefully with this new EASY AND FREE dtr2 download, everyone will start coming in with the Gen 5's, since it's already included

ya shock there'll be alot more coming in with them than without and eric when a bunch of guys are in a server running gen 5 if a guy or girl in your case comes in without them bam i get kicked. sorry if you don't understand, but that's as simple as i can say it.

It's all good Kid41. Awesome idea getting the facebook page going tho ...now we got a great problem to have..training these guys to run clean then fast!
