I recently watched a youtube video of dirtfactor and loved the sound of the late model motor. I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to get the sound of the late models from dirtfactor into DTR2. I downloaded the sound update from Yenko's files hoping it would sound close to it but didn't think it was much better than the original sound that comes with the game. Hope someone out there can help with this because I'm gonna rely on DTR2 to get me through the winter without racing!!

ya there isnt a way to get the dtr2 cars to sound as good as dirt factor but the racing is way better

Yeah I think that was the only sound patch but i didnt like it so i took it out.

WHAT I DO IS...I GET ON DIRT ON DIRT . COM .. AN CRACK IT FULL BLAST TO WHERE I CAN FEEL THE FLOOR RUMBLE THROUGH THE WHOLE HOUSE..SO I JUST TURN SOUND OFF ON DTR2.. AN BAM I GOT AN ANNOUNCER AN REAL CARS!!!!!.

That is a good idea 4h. I don't run sound for dtr2 but i doubt i will turn on dirtondirt but neat idea

what I did was hook my PC up to my 52 in Plasma TV, got 4 12in speakers, and boxes, 4 6X9s and hooked it up to my Sony Home Theatre! when I take off, and hit the guy next to me, it sounds AWESOME!!!! BUT the wife hated it!!!!
