VLR FAST 10'S ARE BACK

VLR Fast 10's are BACK (2023)! Click here to view! Simply join 74.91.122.77:32263 IP in DTR2 and set the laps to 10 in default late models for your time to show up!

To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

Hio.
Im curoius. What do you guys do for throttle control on this game and what are the racing lines. I found out the reason why im so slow is because of this. Any help? Would be great!

Depends on what line your running man are you running sets?
what track are you talking about? and are you on keys?

Ah someone made a guide for this a few years back that was on the XRT site but now I think it's been deleted...that sucks. I will try to find it and if not, I may make a new one. But you can get some great sets on our downloads section

I use an Xbox 360 Controller as well...I think AMP does, too...

The sets I'd recommend would be ICE's sets. He uses a wheel but they work great for me after I lower the steering lock to around 12.7.

Shift points...I usually shift to first when I first let off going into a corner. At wide open tracks sometimes it might be faster to shift in middle of the turns. At Bloomington I shift 3/4 down the back stretch while holding the throttle wide open for a second in first gear before I let off...this helps a little for me.

Ok i downloaded the sets. but i took your shift points advice and surprisngly i got somewhat faster.
But, i don't know, but people pull away on straights.. ha. :S

Hmmm...I don't know why they'd be pulling you down the straights then unless it was a draft track and they were in the draft and you weren't...probably will just take a little practice to get used to driving it and coming out of the corners smoothly.
