TOPIC:

VLR starts tonight racing at Lucas Oil 2k11 in Gen 3's. Qualifying starts at 6:00 ct, 7 est...We will have a little tweak in our usual format for this season...explained below:


1. Qualify (3 laps, fastest lap)
2. Line heats up by Qualifying time, BUT then the top 4 in each heat will be inverted.
3. The top 6 guys that transfer through the heat into the A Main will be lined up by Qualifying time (so if you sandbag to start up front in the heat, you probably wont start up front for the A Main)
4. B and C Mains will be lined up like they always are.

nice sounds real now, I have NEVER sat on the pole with fast Q, I would always in the back of heat 1, we inverted the top 6 Q times!!! That way it gave everyone else a chance that had: not up to par vehicles! AND it made the fast guys really work for it, When A came around it was lined up by Q times (if you made the A in heat)

Yea Jason were doing pretty much what most of the open wheel guys do across the country with the same format, i was gonna do the top 6 invert like u said and how they do it in real life but with dtr2 only having 10 cars and only having 6 in a heat, just had to shrink it down to fit dtr2 pretty much...hope it goes well

This has to be the biggest heap of bullshit i've ever seen.. Good gosh VLR....

dout that will last long but my 2 cents its not real and most online racers dont want it to be real just my 2 cents

yea great run jason!, and i thought the format went smoothly and went ok, just my opinion...took way longer than it shouldve with servers parking and people showing up late to Q, but that can be handled

1. The format was great. Way better than last year I think and there was a lot of passing in the a main. I don't see how it won't work? Everyone was happy with it.

2. Jason, McGee got into JW and you went under me and got into McGee as he was coming back down the track. I don't think it was your fault at all and McGee wasn't mad at you after the race. Great job on second. Usually you get screwed in the first race of the season and start far behind in points but that was impressive.

3. I really do not like Rainman.

I was WAY dizzy and my eyes were watering REAL BAD Finally 0!!!!

Yeah it's good to see a new name up high in points even if it's real early...that's a good thing though a chance to build on it. My hands were sweating and eyes watering, too. Luckily Rainman wrecked me so I didn't have to worry about winning and could calm down.

Jsn bitching about getting wrecked all time, than he goes and wrecks someone.

Damn, last years was much better..I never had it click in my mind and get me into the game...Even if i had won heat 2 I wasnt outside pole.. But it's not my series Idc how it gets run. LoL

Rusty just sent me a text that said "Please go to VLR and find the thread from last night's race. Tell Jsn I was glad he finished 2nd after all his bad luck lately. It was a congrats ruff up after the race."

Jim, what's your deal lately? Jason is one of the nicest, cleanest guys on here! He and Rusty are a lot alike IMO. Rusty complains when ppl do him wrong too. I notice it more than ya'll do. Rusty and Jason both whine and pitch fits after the race, then an hour later, they're on yahoo apologizing to whoever did 'em wrong. Get the facts straight before you trash someone.

Shock, Rusty barely got into JW and gave the spot right back. (Which I wouldn't have done) JW just doesn't know how to let off and thinks the track is his own pinball machine.

Jason, Rusty's not upset, he's happy for you!!! CONGRATS!!! I am a lil disappointed though that we haven't heard the babies singing for a while!

I agree MAMA.... Rusty has help me as much as my good buddy JSN... I think Jim needs to lay off on other drivers.. JSN good job on 2nd you do deserve it....

I hate JSN and I want to fight him!!!
