well , every once in a while , i take a look at all the dtr2 websites i have in my favortites lists
and , im a little sad to say , only a handful are operational , by this i mean - still currently runnin a series and/or being updated
i know we have a core group of guys that race , but i sure hope things start to turn up once real racing starts to wind down in the next 2-3 months
we got alot of guys who put alot of time into this game , whether its making tracks , cars , websites , kepping things interesting , new ideas for series(good or bad) these guys are trying
i saw on the TXR page they have 2 new members , both ive never heard of before , thats a good thing , supposedly they came from team HDR or something??
ive got a couple buddies that are interestedin getting into dtr2 , what i would like to ask everyone to do , is maybe find one of thier buddies/friends (from real life) that maybe they can bring into the mix to get our numbers even higher
i know not everything is perfect with our favorite game , but i think if we all tried to show new guys that never raced it before ... well you get where going
the current schedule is winding down , we have fewer and fewer races by fewer and fewer team/leagues
i know we ar nearing the end of our 2010 summer season online , but im not hearing any mention of plans for the fall yet , i know the main base teams will have something
the current schedule is good , we have enough races to just get by , but i kinda liked it when we had 2 optioons to race at each day , i know thats alot of stepping on toes with times and schedule conflicts , but im looking at it from the point of view that more is better
i know im not racing as much as i should be , after posting this some may say "why is he 'the one' saying this"
well , ive raced dtr2 since it came out - ya ive stepped away from the game a couple different times , for reasons i dont need to explain , but ive always kept coming back
i hope we see some more old faces in the next few months , and some new ones
sorry to ramble so long , just my thoughts on this wednesday morning , i hope something in my writing makes sense lol
